Villas
Angeliki and Afaia are privately owned by Lyn and Mark Purden.
The
house is situated in a very rural location down a quiet lane which
is a cul de sac and, therefore, has no passing traffic whatsoever.
It is very private and not overlooked at all and is, in fact, surrounded
by several aces of pistachio nut trees which are owned by local
Greeks who keep chickens, goats and peacocks. Whilst the quietness
of the location is stressed, the house is only about a mile from
the town of Aegina where there are plenty of shops and tavernas.
The coast is only about a 10minute stroll from the villa and is, therefore,
well positioned for visitors to enjoy a daily swim in the beautifully clear
water.
Outside of school holiday periods we are happy to offer visitors sole occupancy
of the house. This would enable 1 or 2 couples to enjoy Villa Angeliki
with its stunning views, knowing that there will be no other visitors on
the premises.
Also, if required, the whole house can be made available for one group
- ideal for 2 families sharing, as the 2 apartments are completely self
contained.
(A cot is also available on request.)
To
offer a choice, we have made an arrangement with 2 local hotels
for vsitors to use their swimming pools and bars.

The
villa is built in typical Greek style and it is arranged as two
separate apartments, these can be rented independently as they
are both private and self-contained. The accommodation in each half
consists of two double bedrooms (two single beds in each), a large
lounge/dining room, a good-sized and well equipped kitchen with
full cooker and fridge and toilet/shower room. There are also put-you-up
beds should there be more than four visitors in each apartment.
Bed linen is supplied and this is changed weekly.

Villa
Angeliki

This
is the upper half of the villa and affords spectacular views towards
the coast and Athens in the distance. It has a balcony on three
sides from where visitors can enjoy sunshine or shade and this is
a particularly lovely place to sit and watch the wonderful sunsets.

Villa
Afaia

This
is the lower half of the villa and is more appropriate for those
with small children as there is no balcony. There is a large marble
patio area where visitors can enjoy the sunshine from the sunloungers
and garden furniture. There is also an enclosed garden with apricot,
lemon, fig and olive trees.
One
week's rental of Villa Angeliki or Afaia for up to 4 persons sharing
is 325.00-sterling UK pounds. Additional people (max 2) are charged
at 25.00-sterling UK pounds per person per week.
